International Women’s Day (IWD) is commemorate Every 8
March the achievements of women of past and present throughout the world.
The first International Women’s Day was run in 1911 in some European countries.
More than one million women and men mobilized to campaign for women’s rights to
work, vote, education access, equality and end discrimination. By 1975, IWD was
officially recognised by the United Nations andhas continued to gain
